As a youngster growing up in Southern Illinois, I was blessed to have a Dad with insight. He was a decorated World War II Veteran, taking much shrapnel he received in Europe to his grave with him when he passed away back in October of 1987, he never complained about it. He taught me "Liberty Should Not Be Taken For Granted, And Should Be Defended At Any Cost"!
One of the first things I remember is my Dad reading me books about Our Nation's Forefathers, and a very profound statement made by Thomas Jefferson, "I have sworn upon the alter of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
As time marched on, I have experienced many things as well, I have read many, many books. I've been places, historical places that most people only dreamed of seeing. I stand up for what I believe in.
Never before in history has our God given Rights been attacked so viciously. It's time to stand up and say "NO MORE"! My duty as an American is to help expose these tyrants who seem to think there is no United States Constitution, and help stop tyranny on all levels dead in it's tracks.
I am very concerned about the happenings on a National Level. Keep informed by visiting my friends on my links page, and please read my blog. If my site offends you, kindly hit your back button and never return here, or read some of the material with an open mind...maybe you'll learn something.
Perhaps you know me, perhaps you don't., maybe this website will give you an inside look at how I believe Government at all levels should be run. I am a Constitutionalist, which means I base all decisions regarding laws and regulations according to The United States Constitution. This site is to educate, and promote learning on all levels, from kids to adults on how this Nation got to be The Greatest Nation on the face of the Earth.
I am a firm believer in Free Speech, many people in different political offices either out of their ignorance, or arrogance, take We The People's questions and twist them into a form of "mudslinging", "lies", or "underhanded tactics", or label us "troublemakers", aren't We The People guaranteed the right to question a "leader" or "leaders" when we simply do not understand what they are doing, or we disagree with the individual's decision, may we ask them to simply take a step back and look at what they have done/ are doing? YES!
When the same decisions are made year after year that do nothing but rob us of our individual freedoms, WE DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO QUESTION THESE FOLKS, remember what Thomas Jefferson said "Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers (administrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing us to slavery."
It Is OUR DUTY to "ask when in doubt, or disagree, or simply confused as to why they made a certain decision"! Thomas Jefferson made it clear when he said, "[The People] are the ultimate, guardians of their own liberty." So, We The People must question when in doubt!, and again, the people making the decisions should be able to "take the heat" when questions arise, I will remind them again what Thomas Jefferson said about folks who assume Public Office, "When a man assumes a public trust, he should consider himself as public property." So if a public official gets so upset to undergo criticism or to be asked questions, he/she should remember what Thomas Jefferson said, and accept the responsibility, not "cry foul"!
How about the elected official(s) just simply answering the question(s)?
And also remember the truthful old saying, "He who throws dirt always loses ground".

I was glad to be informed someone took my idea of a "Community Directory" and ran with it. Now we will not have to rummage thru several phone books just to find the number of a local business, I'm glad someone is paying attention. I don't care who gets credit for it, I am just glad it's getting done. Our fine merchants deserve only the best! ;)

Great seeing "half of Carterville" there, seeing old friends, and a near reunion of "The Crew"! Great seeing everyone there, I am already looking forward to next year!
