Compare these two articles. The first is the notice that was posted in the newspaper, please note it clearly states liquor licenses will be available for "Retail Liquor Store". Click Below to see the notice.





Now, after the referendum passed, read what Mausey says, "the types of liquor licenses that are granted to Carterville businesses will be up to the people of Carterville".





Now, after the referendum passes, we find out a shocking detail, click the pic below for the full sized page.



Did you catch it? I quote, "The ordinance stipulates that any establishment wishing to serve alcohol must receive more than 60% of its income from food sales".


Let me ask you, how many Retail Liquor Stores generate 60% of it's sales from food sales?

Only you can decide if you are tired of being deceived. The people's vote of yes "was heard", but was it really? It seems like the rules changed between the first ad posted above, in between the time the referendum passed.
